Mental health issues affect 35% of college students at any given point and have been increasing in numbers over the past 10 years. With such a large portion of the student population affected by these issues, there is still a sizable lack of accessible services that universities across the country have put in place to support their student body. To combat these issues, I developed Opaque. Opaque is an anonymous, virtual therapy platform that is led by peer mentors and provides support groups for students all across the country without compromising their privacy.
